Founded in 1983 as The Greater Richmond Area Scholarship Program, the organization was later renamed GReat Aspirations Scholarship Program, Inc. (GRASP) to reflect its statewide reach. GRASP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to helping students overcome financial barriers to continuing their education after high school.
